CDL-A Owner Operator wanted for Daily Runs from Valdosta, GA
Cook Portable Warehouses is seeking Owner/Operator drivers to haul our oversize Portable Buildings within a 300 mile radius of our plant in Valdosta GA.
Positions available in these locations:
Valdosta, GA
CDL-A Owner/Operator Position Details:
5-6 days per week available. $3.00 per LOADED mile, HOME EVERY NIGHT.
- 1000-1500 Average Loaded Miles Per Week
- Utilize our specialized trailer
- Loading/Unloading/Tarping required
- Consistent Freight available all year
- Daylight working hours
- Paid Driver Training
- Weekly Settlements – Direct Deposit Available
- Fuel Card with no service fees
- Paid Permitting
- Plate Program available
- Run under your authority or ours
- Fuel Tax Filing available
Driver Requirements:
- Clean MVR
- 1 year OTR tractor – trailer experience
- Current DOT Physical
- Pass DOT Drug Screen
- Maintain Electronic logs
Tractor Requirements:
- Single axle tractor preferred but not required
- Sliding 5th Wheel required on tandem axle tractor
- Professional appearance
- Tractor needs to meet or exceed FMCSA Safety Regulations
- Pass Annual Inspection
- Liability & Cargo Insurance
- GPS/ELD compatible
