Cook dealer Doreen Davis might be relatively new to the Bryan, Texas area and selling Cook buildings, but she is an expert on sales and has adjusted perfectly to life in the great state of Texas.
She moved to Bryan, Texas from Oregon about a year ago. And guess where she moved? Right down the street from a Cook Portable Warehouse lot. How’s that for fate?
But it wasn’t just the proximity to the quality of Cook sheds that brought Doreen into the Cook family. It was a bad experience with another portable storage company that made her realize that the quality of your portable shed makes all the difference. The building she bought initially was coming apart at the seams, the floor boards were sagging and the walls were chipping. So, when Doreen starting selling Cook warehouses, she saw the difference immediately.
She points to a distinct benefit over other competitors for her region. Someone could place a Cook shed in a rural or remote area to hold equipment for farming or cattle raising and not worry about it for years at a time.
When a customer visits her lot in Bryan, Texas, they will be met with a smiling face who will go over the quality of construction, unmatched warranties and the history of Cook. She also wants to learn about what the customer plans to store to help determine how much extra space they need.
I would love to meet everyone in the area and I would love to sell them one of these high quality buildings,” she said.
Her lot, which is still relatively new, currently has around 15 buildings (although the exact number varies week to week) and her inventory is typically split between new and pre-owned sheds.
She is setting her goals high and plans to work hard to get sales rolling and continue selling a few buildings per week for the foreseeable future.
