The Large Greenhouse 8×20 is Cook’s greenhouse-and-potting-room combo — 160 square feet split between a clear-roof growing bay and a solid-roof potting and utility room. The clear panels pull year-round light onto the growing side, while the enclosed room gives you weather-tight space to pot up, store tools and soil, and overwinter plants out of the sun. Ground-contact pressure-treated framing carries a lifetime warranty — built for the damp a greenhouse lives in, not adapted from a storage building. This size is part of our Large Greenhouse. Frequently Asked Questions

How much does an 8×20 Large Greenhouse cost?

An 8×20 Large Greenhouse (160 sq ft) costs $7,999 cash, delivered fully assembled by your local Cook dealer. That price is for the standard building; options are quoted by your dealer.

What can fit in an 8×20 greenhouse?

An 8×20 greenhouse gives you 160 sq ft (8 ft by 20 ft) — room for potting & garden workspace, year-round plant growing, seedling starting and tool & supply storage.

Is an 8×20 greenhouse delivered assembled?

Yes — an 8×20 greenhouse is built at the factory and delivered fully assembled, usually in 7–10 working days. You will need about 14 ft of clear access width for the delivery truck and a reasonably level spot.

What base does an 8×20 greenhouse need?

An 8×20 greenhouse needs a level base at least 8 ft by 20 ft — a compacted gravel pad is the most common choice. Level ground protects the floor and keeps the doors square; your dealer reviews the site before delivery.

Do I need a permit for an 8×20 greenhouse?

Whether an 8×20 greenhouse needs a permit depends on your local building codes, not on Cook — check with your city or county before you buy. Cook provides building plans you can submit with your permit application.

Can I customize an 8×20 Large Greenhouse?

Yes — design an 8×20 in Cook's 3D configurator: choose siding and trim colors, place doors and windows, add a paint and trim color customization, then request a quote.
