General Questions

How do I get pricing on a specific building and set of features?

Because of the many sizes, styles, and custom options available, we don't post pricing online. You can request pricing by filling out our build-a-shed form — choose your favorite shed style, add any custom features you're looking for, and one of our sales facilitators will follow up by email or phone. Or visit your local Cook Shed Dealer for a chance to tour our sheds in person.

Delivery & Setup

How do Cook's delivery and set-up professionals add value to my purchase?

At Cook, we maintain control of every aspect of our business, including the delivery process. Unlike many competitors, we don't hire local contractors to deliver your building. Our professional fleet are personally invested in the success of our company and genuinely care about every customer and building they deliver.

How quickly can I expect my building to be delivered?

Normal delivery time is 7 to 10 working days (weather permitting) from the date the order is processed by our corporate office. A site check or mule delivery may extend this window. All deliveries are scheduled through our corporate office, not through the local dealer. Occasionally, factors beyond our control — poor weather, flat tires, driver illness, or seasonal increases in demand — may affect our delivery schedule, but we make every effort to deliver your building as quickly and efficiently as possible.

When will I be contacted to schedule the delivery of my new building?

It is our policy to contact every customer at least 2 days prior to delivery to schedule a date and time. The customer must be present to accept delivery of the new Cook shed. If you receive a message from our fleet department, please call our toll-free number to confirm your delivery arrangements. On the day of delivery, you will receive a courtesy call from the delivery professional to verify ground conditions and that you are present and ready.

Is it necessary for me to be present during the delivery process?

Yes. The person who completes the order form must also be present at the time of delivery to sign the remaining paperwork and accept the building. If that isn't possible, someone financially accountable must be added to the paperwork, or other arrangements must be made to obtain signatures prior to the scheduled delivery date.

How much space is needed for the delivery of my building?

Your new building will be delivered using a large truck and a 30-foot trailer. The total length is approximately 50 feet and requires a minimum height and width clearance of 14 feet. Our delivery professionals need clear access to the delivery location and room to maneuver — the immediate area must be clear of trees, overhead wires, ditches, and similar obstructions.

Is the delivery professional able to cross someone else's property during the delivery process?

If the delivery driver must cross property owned by someone other than the customer, the adjoining property owner must sign a release form before delivery can be scheduled.

What if I do not own the property on which my new building is to be placed?

If the building is to be placed on property owned by someone other than the customer, the property owner must sign a release form before delivery can be scheduled.

Who is responsible for removing obstructions?

If the delivery location contains any obstructions that will interfere with the delivery of your new Cook shed, it is the customer's responsibility to remove those obstructions prior to delivery.

What about permits and anchoring?

Any permits or anchoring required to comply with local or state ordinances are the customer's responsibility and should be arranged prior to delivery.

Will the delivery professional level my building?

Our free delivery service includes proper leveling of your building so doors and windows function correctly. Our delivery personnel will place your building on level ground and adjust the height to a maximum of 6 inches using pressure-treated wood shims. Buildings over 24 feet in length must be placed directly on level ground, gravel, or a concrete pad. All site preparation is the customer's responsibility and must be completed prior to delivery.
