Lawnmower
Your lawnmower may be your largest piece of equipment in your shed and should be properly stored away. First stabilize the gas to keep the carburetor from clogging over winter. If you use this throughout the year, it will also help your engine run smoother.
Plus, sharpen the blades and clean the mower, especially under the mower deck to help prevent it from rusting. Also, drain the oil and dispose at your local service station.
Smaller, Two Cycled Engine Equipment
Drain the gas and the oil, but make sure you properly dispose of this at your local service station.

- Drain the fuel tank
- Install a new spark plug
- Clean and inspect the air filter
- Check fuel lines and replace the fuel filter
