The 8×8 Lofted Barn is the most compact footprint in the family — a square 64 square feet of floor with two 4ft-deep end lofts running the full 8ft width, adding 64 square feet of overhead storage that nearly doubles what the floor alone gives you. Customers at this size often spec shelving above a small corner workbench and a standard walk-through door rather than a double; at this footprint there’s nothing wider than a push mower rolling in. The barn-style roof gives the lofts honest depth without crowding the center. This size is the entry point to our Lofted Barn line; if 64 square feet runs tight, related sizes include 8×10 and 8×12. Pricing and delivery are handled through your local dealer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does an 8×8 Lofted Barn cost?

An 8×8 Lofted Barn (64 sq ft) costs $4,325 cash, delivered fully assembled by your local Cook dealer. That price is for the standard building; options are quoted by your dealer.

What can fit in an 8×8 shed?

An 8×8 shed gives you 64 sq ft (8 ft by 8 ft) and 6'3" sidewalls — room for general storage, workshop, hunting cabin and she-shed.

Is an 8×8 shed delivered assembled?

Yes — an 8×8 shed is built at the factory and delivered fully assembled, usually in 7–10 working days. You will need about 14 ft of clear access width for the delivery truck and a reasonably level spot.

What base does an 8×8 shed need?

An 8×8 shed needs a level base at least 8 ft by 8 ft — a compacted gravel pad is the most common choice. Level ground protects the floor and keeps the doors square; your dealer reviews the site before delivery.

Do I need a permit for an 8×8 shed?

Whether an 8×8 shed needs a permit depends on your local building codes, not on Cook — check with your city or county before you buy. Cook provides building plans you can submit with your permit application.

How does the 8×8 Lofted Barn compare to the 8×10?

An 8×8 gives you 64 sq ft — 16 sq ft less than the 8×10 (80 sq ft) at the same 8 ft width, and about $100 more. Choose the 8×8 for a smaller footprint, or size up for extra length.

Can I customize an 8×8 Lofted Barn?

Yes — design an 8×8 in Cook's 3D configurator: choose siding and trim colors, place doors and windows, add a heavy-duty floor, then request a quote.
